Tease Recyclewear is a Portland Oregon based clothing design and manufacturing company specializing in hip, one-of-a-kind, eco-friendly fashions individually hand-crafted and reconstructed from recycled t-shirts. We have on hand the wrap skirt, leg warmers, and arm warmers. Because Tease Recyclewear uses recycled t-shirts, each item is unique.

Binders, cd holders and pens from Rebinder in Seattle (OK, it’s not Oregon but, Seattle is regional. Besides, couldn’t find a similar product in Oregon). These are the world’s only FSC Certified line of binders (the ReBinder). In addition to being FSC Certified, the ReBinder is assembled by a local, AbilityOne certified disabled workforce. The binders, CD sleeves, journals and presentation/event materials are all made from post-consumer recycled materials.

Remark, the Eco Pen is also from Rebinder. The true eco friendly pen – ReMark is NOT made from a petroleum based plastic. While it looks and performs like traditional plastic stick pen, it’s not petroleum based at all.  ReMark is composed of Wood (or cotton) based Cellulose Acetate polymer and plant based plasticizer.

• The wood in the polymer is sourced from domestic certified sustainable forests
• The plasticizer is produced from (non-genetically modified) grape seed oil.
• You’ll swear you’re using a plastic pen, but you’re not!

Just like we do for the Preserve toothbrushes and razors, you can bring these pens back to Local Goods and we will send them back to Rebinder and they will “upcycle” them and make new pens.
